The only problem is that Herocraft's Dev team is still working to tweak and update their plugins so that they work well with the new update.
A known issue with this is that, if you updated your Minecraft client anyways, you couldn't play on servers with the previous update. You'd have to wait for them to update their server before you could play on it or you'd have to download the previous update and miss out on the new additions to Minecraft.
Well, the developers from both Herocraft and Spout have a solution for you; Spoutcraft.
You can use your regular Minecraft client to play with all the nifty new updates from Mojang while not having to worry about waiting for your server to update. Plus, by using Spoutcraft, you get to use some pretty amazing features on the game like key bindings, a mini map, a party interface (so you can see their health and mana), donor commands, and more!
If you're not too interested in Spoutcraft, or if your parents won't let you download a new client to play with, you can always talk to them about getting MCNostalgia, a client add-on that's gaining a lot of popularity on the Minecraft Forums due to it's ability to "rollback" recent minecraft updates so that you can still play on your favorite servers even after downloading the recent update.
