Rivaling the Pantheon Since 2010

Throughout the history of Herocraft, epic architecture and creative structures have been vital to the server. Massive castles, fortresses, arenas and other structures have been cleverly designed and featured on the many maps known to Herocraft. These structures offer a grand setting to play on during exploration and even PVP/PVE events and activities.

While captivated by these amazing works of art, many stop and ask; "Who created this?". Even more inquire about how they can contribute to Herocraft's design and build things for the server.

Unlike most servers, Herocraft has several staff teams that are in charge of various elements within the community. The Architect Team is the staff team dedicated to bringing Herocraft the best and most ingenious architecture they can possibly create.

"The elite builders of the server; they're the ones with the insight to ensure projects are completed with the high level of creativity that rivals the Pantheon itself!"
-Kainzo
I'd say Kainzo nailed that one on the head.

Through teamwork and collaboration, the Architect Staff is responsible for nearly all DHX structures on the server including Bastion Keep, the sands of Warshard, the design of ForgeLight and the Hell Gate in the Nether. Other structures such as the Warshard Boat, Dragon Roosts, and our Port Spires have been designed and created by other users during our architecture contests.

Who Makes Up the Architect Team?

In the beginning of the server, the team was very small, consisting of a few people of whom were hand-picked by Kainzo to join the team and build on Herocraft's Kingdom map. Since then, the numbers have been ever-so increasing as more talented builders ask to play a role in the development of Herocraft.

Currently, there are 17 members on the Architect Team.

They are:
The Architect Team of Herocraft is:
_AMPLiFY, bluejack404, gabizou, Galaxial, j2gay, Kidwatson, Mitchodak, Moiejunur, northeaster345, sidesummy, Signod, Symbolite, TheHuntedPie, thetxlibra, TremendousFox, WoleverEntun, and xpeterc1.

Although the team is made up of so many people, there is always room for more Architects-to-be to join the staff team if they have what it takes to live up to, and exceed, Herocraft's reputation for outstanding architecture.

Unlike most teams, the Architecture Team has only one Leader - Kainzo. With some guidance from Gabizou, the team of members are all equals and nobody rules over anyone without the word of Kainzo first.

Our Final Consensus

Earlier in the month, we asked out viewers which staff positions they'd like to know about most. Here are the results:

According to the poll, our viewers are most interested in learning about Architects

Following closely behind is the Lore Master position with 5 votes, Designers with 3 votes, and then Guides with 2 votes.

This sets the order for our next several articles on these positions (excluding Guides as they were covered in our last post).

Stay tuned for future posts covering these Teams and Positions!

For anyone who is interested in applying for a position, please visit Applications Sub-Forum on the Herocraft Forums to learn about the requirements and details for the positions you're interested in.

We're Here to Help!

Starting out on the server can be quite a headache for some new players.

Questions like "What are the rules?", "What mods are legal?", and even basic questions like "Where do I go?" or "How do I level up?" are asked by dozens of new players every day.

Plus, with all of the unique and custom plugins on our server, it's almost like you're learning a completely new game! Aside from the basic concept of Minecraft, we're definitely unlike any server you could ever possibly play (including the few copycat servers out there).

Thankfully, we also have something that makes us stand out from the crowd when it comes to how we treat our new players; Guides.

A Guide is a staff member that specializes in helping our new players. Appointed and promoted by the Barnubus, the Senior Guide, the job of a Guide is to answer any and all questions to help our new heroes learn about the server, and hopefully point you in the right direction so that you can become a strong and independent Hero.

Questions about the rules, navigating around the server, game-play, and anything else that's related to the Herocraft community are appropriate questions to ask a Guide. In fact, asking for help from a Guide is encouraged versus asking another player who may not know the correct answer, especially if you're asking in the Tour Channel, created specifically for new players to speak in.

Before you get on the server and begin asking anyone anything, however, it is important to first check out the rules for the server, as it is assumed that you agree to and accept our rules when you log onto our servers.

All of our rules and information about how to play the server can easily be found at our Wiki.

For those who are interested in a more in-depth look at the server, feel free to check out this wonderful "How To: Herocraft" Guide, created by one of our Guides, Archmage_Lloyd.
