Herocraft's Social-Pets are now enabled on the server!

For a limited time, you can also pay $50 to get them all, including the Bat when it's officially released!

Kainzo has also added in a Baby Zombie which sells for $20 for those who want to especially stand out.

If you're interested in test-driving this new feature for free, simply log in on the server and use the command "/pet" to test out a baby cow.

If you ever want to turn off this feature, you can use the same command ("/pet") to toggle it on and off.

All pets are respawnable. However, you can only have one following you around at a time.

Do you have a soft spot for anything small, cute, and fuzzy?

What about an adorable baby Mooshroom or a tiny bug-eyed slime following you around, screaming out "Mommy! Daddy! I wuv you!" (in your head of course, cause we're all a little insane like that)?

Well, Kainzo himself has just released an exclusive sneak peak of what's in store for anyone who's interested in donating to the server - Social Pets!

Currently called "Herocraft's first ethical micro-transaction commodities", players will soon be are now able to donate anywhere from $5-$50 to get an adorable little companion (non-aggressive and non-interactive of course).

Pets will be spawnable anywhere and at any time.

Do's and Do not's of Herocraft

I can swing my sword (sword).. 

As a new player on the server, you may be a little "iffy" about what is and what isn't allowed on the server. 

For some, even reading the rules can leave one slightly puzzled.

If you're one of those players... Well...


Here's a friendly list of both Do's and Do Not's to point you in the right direction:

• Do Be friendly to all Staff members on the server (including Guides and Proctors).
• Do Not Harass staff about white-list applications on the forums.
• Do Build cute little houses and structures wherever you wish!
• Do Not Build boxes, pure cobble structures, or distasteful structures that add no cosmetic value to the server. 
• Do Report any griefing of your structures if the structure is not in Warshard.
• Do Not Grief another player's structure unless in Warshard.
• Do Participate in chat topics in public chats, like Off-Topic and Tour. 
• Do Not Spam chat channels, chat in Trade or Help chats (unless appropriate), or harass/troll players. 
• Never Use Meme's, E-bonics, or any other form of trolling in global/public chats. You will be muted for "Arrow to the knee" jokes. 
• Do Feel free to use mini-maps and approved mods/plugins. 
• Do Not Use illegal hack clients, X-rays, fly-hacks, or any form of exploits on the server. You will be caught and permanently banned from the server. 
• Do Not Talk about hacks or bans in ANY public chat channel. Doing so will get you muted. 
• Always Report suspicious activity on the server. If someone is doing something that you believe is illegal on the server, capture the activity at once (using screenshots or FRAPS) and create a PE. Then, post all evidence collected in the "Exploits" section of the forums. 
• Never Annoy Kainzo. He will kill you. Yes. Kill you. Not kidding.

Congratulations Danda!

Yesterday was a very important day in the History of Herocraft. One of our most beloved Moderators, Danda, was promoted to 'Admin'!

At this time, an event quickly started and a 5,000 coin bounty was placed on Danda's head. To please the gods, in order for him to ascend, he had to "leave behind his mortal coil" so that his spirit could be free.

Danda was also given "Zo" powers, bringing him up to 10,000 hp and giving him nearly every power and skill known on Herocraft.

Many brave and noble players attempted to release Danda and most of them were quickly killed. After a long battle, the only player of whom was victorious was MrChucklez, a player known for his strong hand in PVP.

After Danda was released to the heavens, the Gods collected in a new Dome, and commenced the ceremony known best for it's bloodshed and destruction; the Dome of Death.

At the end of the ceremony, the gods were pleased by the loyalty of the heroes and rewarded them generously with rare and exclusive items including end stone, mob eggs, and beacon stars.

Who Says Halloween Must End?

A very special update came out for Herocraft today, giving you ghosts and ghouls to play with until Halloween comes back next year! Herocraft 4.20 has finally been released!

This update incorporates all of the new additions that were added in by Mojang and Notch (on the "Halloween Update" aka 1.4.2) and also provides Heroes with a few more added surprises.

Here's what we have for our trick-or-treat'ers:

• Bastion Map Increase - Now at a radius of 2800 (up from 2600)
• Warshard Map Increase - Now at a radius of 2000 (up from 1500)
• Hero Bounty - Players with bounties now drop their "heads"
• Whithers, Witches and Bats are now all set up on the server
• Beacons, Frames, Anvils & CMDBLOCKS - Currently restricted
• New Profession Planned
• Farmers can now spawn Bats
• Scribes can create Beacons
• Smiths can use Anvils
